The Old Greer County Museum is located in a 1908 hospital building. It has more than 60 rooms filled with artifacts explaining the history of Old Greer County, the early pioneers, and the communities in which they lived. The Old Pioneer Hall of Fame is located on the premises to honor pioneers in the area before 1907. There is also a Seagraves fire truck restored in 1928.

The Museum of Old Greer County is situated at 222 West Jefferson Street, Mangum, Oklahoma. It is open 10:00 to 4:00, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. For more info, call the number on their official site. Magnum was named for Captain A. S. Mangum, a veteran of the Texas Army. Greer County was named for John Alexander Greer, a lieutenant legislative head of Texas.
Visit
Visit the Old Greer County Museum and Hall of Fame to see a novel piece of Oklahoma's set of experiences. The 16,000 square foot office exhibits photographs, memorabilia and curios from the beginning of old Greer County. Additionally on the property, there is a fire station where you can move onto a 1939 fire engine and you can see a unique 1906 hand pulled fire truck.
